Cloud Nine Night Surfing at Siargao Island, Philippines. The 50-foot tower with 10 x 1000 watt flood lights that has been anticipated by many surfers throughout the world is finally having the official opening of Cloud Nine Night Surfing on Monday 19th September, 2011

A little apology from Scott Down, founder of Cloud Nine Night Surfing for the delay as it took a year to complete due to electrical supply problems between Surigao City and Siargao Island.

The tower is anchored into the reef and the surfing community greatly appreciates the environment and this project is also being monitored by the Philippine Environment Council to ensure minimal impact on the reef.

We have already received 3 x 1 hour bookings and hope to be very busy as the Billabong Pro Junior starts on 21st September and is then followed by the International Siargao Surfing competition on the 28th September 2011.

This epic development will enable surfers of all levels to enjoy Cloud Nine even when the sun goes down as its open from 7pm till 5am.Keep up to date with more news and photos and videos at www.cloudninenightsurfing.com! Its all on for monday night at 7pm onwards with the high tide at 9:30pm so its perfect with the incoming tide to push a little more swell through.
